BI job requirements:
Has some experience with children (e.g., BI, babysitting/nanny, camp leader)
Loves children and enjoys playing with them
Can work independently and as a team member
Has strong organization and time management skills
Is flexible and open to learning
Has a current Child Safe First Aid Certificate or willing to get one
Criminal Records Check
Working towards a career working with children and adolescents
BI job responsibility:
Works with children one on one and group settings in the child’s home, the Happy Oak centre or in the child’s daycare, preschool or school setting.
Teaches children by following a program plan developed by the child’s team
Records and tracks children’s progress
Creates teaching materials utilizing resources
Participates and contributes to team meetings
Participates in ongoing ABA training
